Solving Computer Aggravations, Thursday, February 28, 3PM.  Miklos Jako offers help for those who want to be more computer savvy. Learn more about the program.   

 

North Reading Reads 2013:  Robert B. Parker  We hope you will join us in honoring the late mystery author. Programs will include a reading by local writer and TV commentator, Hank Phillippi Ryan, and a special evening with Joan Parker, the wife of the late author. Events are listed here.

Copies of his books are available at the library. The book groups are discussing A Catskill Eagle, but you are encouraged to read whichever book -- or as many books -- as you want.

Happening this month:

Winter Story times are still going on now: 
 
TODDLER TALES - Tuesdays at 9:30am. For ages 1 - 2 1/2.  February 5, 12.  

PRESCHOOL STORY TIME - Thursdays at 9:30am. For ages 3 - 5. February 7. The sixth meeting is a special Music with Dara on February 14th at 10:00am.

BABIES AND BOOKS - Thursdays at 10:30am. For ages 0 - 12+ months. February 7. The sixth meeting is a special Music with Dara on February 14th at 10:00am

STORIES AND SONGS - Fridays at 9:30am. For ages 2 - 3 1/2.  February 1, 8, 15.  

LEGO CLUB - Tuesday, February 5th
at 4:00 pm.  For grades 3 - 6.
 
VALENTINE PARTY for toddlers, Saturday, February 9, 11am. Co-sponsored by of North Reading Moms & Tots  

YAB Craft Event - Valentine's Cookie Decorating!  Tuesday, February 12th at 4:00pm. For ages 10 and up.

LEGO CLUB JR., Tuesday February 19th @ 2:00.  For grades K - 2. Registration required.

DROP-IN CRAFTS - 3rd Wednesday of the Month. Customized Pencil Cases.  Wednesday, February 20th from 3:00 - 5:00pm. 

THE DANCING FLUTE - Thursday, February 21st @ 11:00 am.
Flutist Judy Braude and pianist Debbie Emery will present a program of George Frideric Handel's Flute Sonatas in which young concert goers will also learn several popular dances from  Handel's time such as the Minuet, Gavotte, and Bourree; and will also learn how to beat and count musical time. F
r all ages. Thank you to Reading Co-operative Bank for sponsoring the program.

 

HOLIDAY MOVIE MATINEE - Friday, February 22 @ 1:30 PM.  This month we will the show"The Land Before Time".  Rated G.  69 minutes.  

 

YAB - Tuesday, February 26th @ 4:00pm.  Join the Youth  Advisory Board for our winter meeting to plan our winter YAB activities.  What would you like to see happen at the library?  Snacks provided.
  
DADS & DONUTS, Saturday, March 2, 10:30am. Drop by for stories and a snack. Mothers and other caregivers are also welcome.
