Happenings for Adults

The Boomer's Top Ten Daily Checklist, Thursday, January 31, 7PM
Baby Boomers and others are invited to join us for a presentation on staying focused and motivated during a job search. Speakers will be Stephen Buell, Kevin Walsh and Tom Procopio. Sponsored by the Friends.
North Reading Reads 2013: Robert B. Parker This year we are paying tribute to the late, beloved mystery writer. Programs will include a reading by local writer and TV commentator, Hank Phillippi Ryan, and a conversation with Joan Parker, the wife of the late author. Please keep watch for details-events to take place in March.

Winter Story times are registering now:
TODDLER TALES - Tuesdays at 9:30am. For ages 1 - 2 1/2. Meets January 8, 15, 22, 29, February 5, 12.
PRESCHOOL STORY TIME - Thursdays at 9:30am. For ages 3 - 5. Meets January 10, 17, 24, 31, February 7. The sixth meeting is a special Music with Dara on February 14th at 10:00am.
BABIES AND BOOKS - Thursdays at 10:30am. For ages 0 - 12+ months. Meets January 10, 17, 24, 31, February 7. The sixth meeting is a special Music with Dara on February 14th at 10:00am.
STORIES AND SONGS - Fridays at 9:30am. For ages 2 - 3 1/2. Meets January 11, 17, 24, February 1, 8, 15.
DROP-IN CRAFTS - 3rd Wednesday of the Month. Wednesday, January 16th from 3:00 - 5:00pm.
YAB Craft Event - Magnet Making. Tuesday, January 15th at 4:00pm. For ages 11 and up. Using glass half-marbles and various papers, make one or a dozen magnets. Decorate your life!
YAB - Tuesday, January 29th @ 4:00pm. Join the Youth Advisory Board for our winter meeting to plan our winter YAB activities. What would you like to see happen at the library?
