I am thrilled to tell you about our ground-breaking work to prevent violence in Washington State and beyond

With support from people like you, we are:

Inspiring Change at the Grassroots Migrant farmworker families often face incredible hardships, including pervasive sexual abuse in the fields, violence at home, and few places to turn to. We work with Latina farmworker survivors and domestic violence advocates to grow and share grassroots organizing models. Invest in the success of our nationally-leading model, highlighted at the 2012 World Shelter Conference.
Building Dignity for Children and Families
Could changes in emergency shelter design help survivors of abuse and their kids be safer and heal faster? With pro-bono help from a leading architectural firm, we created a website of practical fixes and design innovations for shelters. We are honored that the United Nation's "Unite to End Violence Against Women" campaign featured our project's lessons. Invest in helping children and families fleeing abuse to heal.
Running for Prevention 2012 was also the inaugural year of our "Refuse To Abuse"® 5k run at Safeco Field, building on our 15-year partnership with the Seattle Mariners. This sold-out race reached 1,000+ participants with the message that domestic violence is preventable, and that doing something about it can be fun!

We need your donation today. Invest in positive change,
