Join us starting this weekend for our Strip Tease Shop Hop! We'll have extended hours and a free project pattern. Just the thing to warm up these cold January days! Pick up your free stamp card and plan your route!

SECOND SCRAPAHOLIC CLASS SCHEDULED

Bonnie Kuchera shared the good news that she isn't moving to the cold northern state of Wisconsin but is staying in Nebraska with us. This means a second session of her fun Scrapaholic class has been scheduled for Saturday, February 7th at 9:30.We'll be calling the waiting list this week to see how many spots will be available. If you're interested, give us a call and we'll add you to the list. The class fee is $30 and includes coffee and snacks in the morning. Bring a sack lunch or pop out to a nearby restaurant for your 30 minute lunch break. Don't wait too long - the first session filled very quickly!

a different kind of Shop Hop!

We have our 2014 Row by Row patterns, row kits and wall hanging kits available for sale! The pattern is $5. The row kit is $12.50 and includes the pattern and fabric to make only the row - without borders. The Wall Hanging kit is $24.50 and will make the hanging as shown. You need only add batting and backing. Postage is additional. If you'd like any of the available kits, please call us at 402-362-4737 or email us and we'd be glad to get it out to you!

GALLERY HAPPENINGS

We invite you to join us this Thursday evening for our January Gallery Opening! This month we're featuring Staff favorites - a quilt or two from each of our talented staff members. I'm sure you'll enjoy the variety! And the wine and snacks too! Hope to see you Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m

Speaking of the Gallery, it's that time of the year again! When we're ready to start a new calendar that's full of blank pages and squares. I'm looking for some quilters to share their quilts in our Gallery for a month in 2015, starting with March. That gives you a few months to get them together. Please consider volunteering. You don't have to be a professional, just a quilter! We need about 10 large quilts or a few large ones and some smaller wallhangings. Talk to me soon so that all the spaces aren't taken before
you can pick your month!

Two great projects to share!

Sharon Zierott took both days of the paper piecing workshop in December. She's been busy sewing and brought in her finished Winter Wonderland table runner to share with us. It turned out beautifully - the photo doesn't do it justice! Thanks for sharing Sharon!

Nancy Heine has a knack for making lovely quilts and this one is another in her series! She used a Christmas panel that we had last fall and set it with sampler blocks made with Kansas Troubles fabric. It really turned out great!

We love Sew & Tell! Please bring your completed projects in so we can enjoy them and share with all the other quilters who like to see finished quilts - even if they belong to someone else! Looking forward to seeing your next one!

We're planning our Annual Super Bowl Sale on January 31st and Mystery Quilt Sew Day on Sunday, February 1st. Watch for details and order your mystery kit in January.

New clubs and classes are now on our website so you can see when we meet and what we're making. Pictures will be there shortly!

The staff and I had a busy two days doing inventory last week. They searched and counted their fingers off while I updated the computer. Hope you had enough projects at home to keep you busy while we were closed! I had hoped to do a major re-arrange of the fabric but the counting filled both days. You don't realize how much stuff we have until you have to count it all. We did find quite a few things that were put aside for the Super Duper Super Bowl Sale on Saturday, January 31st. Come early for some one of a kind items at super prices! Mark your calendar today so you don't make other plans! We'll be open 9 to 5 that day so you'll have plenty of time to shop!
