Join us Tuesday!

What's on your plate? Is it really food?

We're teaming up with Fair Farms Maryland to show "In Defense of Food," the film based on Michael Pollan's book by the same name, at Maryland Hall, 6 p.m. next Tuesday, March 22. Come join us for the sake of your health and find the answer to "What should I eat?"

Betsy Nicholas, Executive Director of Waterkeepers Chesapeake, and Chef Craig Sewell of A Cook's Cafe will lead a discussion after the film screening.

There will be several organizations and farms with lots of good info to share, including Food and Water Watch.

The Annapolis Bookstore will have Michael Pollan's books available for purchase.

Rutabaga Craft Juicery, makers of made-to-order cold-pressed juice, superfood smoothies, and healthy breakfast, lunch and snack items, will have samples of their juices.

Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

The suggested donation of $10 will benefit the work of Annapolis Green and Fair Farms Maryland.

Seats are limited. Click here to RSVP.
