Come to our Open House
at the
"Annapolis Green House"
Thursday, Dec. 10 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. 92 Maryland Avenue
during Midnight Madness II
It's our very own Miracle on Maryland Avenue! We're hosting an event at our very first "home." We couldn't resist inviting you to a casual drop-by during Midnight Madness II. We hope you'll come by to see our new place and then go on to visit the wonderful merchants on historic and eclectic Maryland Avenue and State Circle!
Okay, so we couldn't stop there. We'll make it official with a Ribbon Cutting that will be very Green too with some special guests.
We'll have live music by Mike and Kelly Lange, Tom Guay, Andy Fegley, and Karin Hannah Stern. And we will be graced with the angelic sounds of St. Mary's Acapella Choir. They will stop by with holiday carols for sing-along!
But, most of all we want to introduce you to our new space and the grand plans we have. Of course we'll have our very own "Santa's Wish List" to help us get there.
Ours is a terrific little spot that will help propel us to the next level in our mission of making sustainability a way of life in the Annapolis area for a vibrant, healthy and prosperous community.
Come see the "before," that is, the before we paint, decorate, and furnish our office, Green Community Center/Conference space, and sublet office. And just wait until you see what our Welcome Wall will look like i the future -- an inspiration from our friends at Great Frogs Winery -- and how you can be a part of that!
With limited space, we will have some light refreshments including "sweet and savory" from Miss Nancy's Fancy Bakery (generously donated at the November Green Drinks at Capital Teas), as well as lots of good holiday cheer to share with you.
Our award-winning Lights of Kindness Christmas Tree will be on display. It's decorated with ornaments made of natural or repurposed materials donated by Maryland Avenue and State Circle merchants.
Join with us to see what's possible and to see how you can be a part of our vision!
See you tomorrow! Happy Holidays.

Caroling and Cookies for a Cause
On Sunday, Dec. 13, Annapolis Green will be part of Caroling and Cookies for a Cause, a new event on Maryland Avenue and State Circle.
From 1 to 4 p.m., we invite you to sing along with the Chesapeake Revelers on Maryland Avenue and State Circle, in front of Annebeth's, Evergreen Antiques, Galway Bay Irish Restaurant & Pub, Peake House and Paws Pet Boutique. You'll be able to spin the holiday wheel for prizes from participating merchants and enjoy holiday cookies. The money raised will benefit Annapolis Green!
