Top of the Line
Do Good. Have Fun.
Saturday, July 26 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Sign up today to take part, in a fun way, to do some good for the environment and our community with Annapolis Green and Keep America Beautiful... sponsored by Bud Light.
We're going to be doing a clean-up, spruce-up of the Ellen O. Moyer Nature Park on Back Creek. It will be followed up by a big party at Port Annapolis Marina, right next door, courtesy of Bud Light. Annapolis Community Boating, whose headquarters is in the park, is partnering with us too.
The Do Good part, from 8:30 to noon, will involve mulching, planting, painting, and litter patrol from land and from Annapolis Community Boating's kayaks.
It's going to be a blast! To cheer us on will be some folks from the Chesapeake Bayhawks, our local Major League Lacrosse team, including mascot Hawk-Eye, some of Hawkettes and some of the players! We're thrilled to be teaming up with them as we jointly promote next Thursday's Go Green Night (more below)
The Have Fun part, from noon to 3 p.m., will involve lunch and Bud Light right next door at the very Green Port Annapolis Marina!
Sign up online, earn the t-shirt, and spend some time taking care of the park and Back Creek. You'll feel good as you do good!
See you there!

Join us on Thursday evening, July 31 for a fun night at the Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium when the Bayhawks play the Denver Outlaws during Go Green Night!

The spirit at the games is infectious ...come experience the excitement right in your backyard! Not only have the Bayhawks given us a unique promo code for a discount on tickets but they are also working with Annapolis Green's Responsible Events & Festivals program and the Stadium to increase recycling efforts -- and for this night, also composting! Go Green Night starts at 7:30 p.m. We encourage you to wear green (or a team jersey, of course)! Get the promo code on our website.
During the game the team will stress the importance of being kind to the environment and part of the ticket sales will benefit Annapolis Green! You'll see our eco-stations at the stadium too -- deployed to help fans recycle and ready for the Annapolis Rotary Crab Feast the next day. Read more below.

Compost those Crabs!
5-8 p.m., Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium
Compost those crabs! Annapolis Green is working with the Rotary Club of Annapolis to make this 69th annual event ZERO-WASTE!
Our mantra, "Feast Responsibly," means everything will be recycled or composted -- nothing to the landfill.
Nearly 2,500 people are expected to attend and finish off 350 bushels of crabs, 3,400 ears of corn, 100 gallons of crab soup, 1,800 hot dogs, 150 pounds of beef barbeque, and hundreds of gallons of soft drinks and beer. Look for our Eco-Stations!
The crab feast is not only a blast, it also supports Rotary's great work in our community. Sponsorships to help with Rotary's FIRST ZERO WASTE Crab feast are still available. Get your company's name associated with this terrific effort that combines Chesapeake Heritage with the bounty of the Bay and good stewardship of our resources!
