An Incredible Opportunity -- extended until April!
Drawing for a Free Solar System for a Business that becomes a new Founding One Hundred Sponsor!
Have you been considering supporting Annapolis Green by becoming a Founding One Hundred sponsor? Here is an unbelievable incentive that will not only support us, but will save you money and bring you clean solar power for your business!
RER Energy Group is offering to build a FREE solar PV system for one new Founding One Hundred sponsor!
"The system will be offered to one business that becomes an Annapolis Green Founding Member between now and the April Green Drinks," said Dennis Satnick, Senior Consultant for RER. "A minimum 40kW system is being offered to create better understanding of the annual electric bill savings and illustrate how solar PV systems can be built with no capital outlay."
The new sponsors' names will be put into a basket and a drawing will be held at Green Drinksin April. Contact Dennis Stanick to learn more.

Top of the Line
If you missed Green Drinks Wednesday night, you missed a bloomin' good time!
We were right in the middle of Homestead Garden's annual springtime open house with the flowers all around us. Homestead's theme was "Setting the Stage for Spring," and that's exactly what we did... featuring three terrific programs that involve celebration of our heritage, clean-up and conservation of our environment, and city beautification: Maryland Day, Project Clean Stream, and Annapolis in Bloom. Now it's your turn to get involved! Read more below.

Thank you
This was our 6th year at Homestead Gardens in the March. thank you to owner Brian and Kendra Riddle and Marketing Manager Randy Lentz and his staff for the hospitality. Be sure to use your Green Drinks 20% off coupons! What a nice treat. Thank you!
We owe a big thank you to the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay for sponsoring this gathering of Green Drinks. Read more about its signature program, Project Clean Stream, below.
Thank you to Herrington on the Bay for the fabulous appetizers. We're still talking about the Margarita Cupcakes! We so appreciate the generosity of owner Anna Chaney in donating the food for our event and the talent of Chef Mike Archibald.
Thank you to Mills Fine Wine & Spirits for selecting wines and beers for our event. Owner Jen Donahoe was there pouring and enlightening us about the wine with help from Lynne's nephew, Justin Shepherd, who we can always count on to help us.
Augmenting the adult beverages was great coffee from Chesapeake Bay Roasting Company served by the Saucy Salamander Cafe at Homestead. Thanks!
And thank you to Master Watershed Steward Ann Jackson for providing the watershed map. It's very enlightening to see where the stormwater that falls on your property ends up. Did you find out what watershed YOU live in? If not, let us know.
Finally, we cannot put on these events without our volunteers. Thank you to Meghan Matthews, Mariel Yarbrough, Karin Hannah Stern, Ann Garvey, Sandy Williamson, Stephanie Duncan Troxell, and Leslie Trott Givens-Neff.
Did you see our Keep America Beautiful banner? We're well on our way to doing even more great things in the community as an affiliate. Stay tuned!
We're looking forward to the "Earth Month" Green Drinks in April at the Loews Annapolis Hotel. Stay tuned for the date.
And next weekend make some time to patronize our long-time sponsor, K&B True Value, as the business celebrates its 40th Anniversary! See below.
Now scroll down and see how you can launch spring in your life by getting involved in Maryland Day, Project Clean Stream and Annapolis in Bloom!

Maryland Day Grows a Little Greener
This Weekend, March 21-23
We're working with the Four Rivers Heritage Area on its celebration of "all things Maryland" this weekend (starting today) to bring more awareness of Green practices to its event sites and the public... including kids.
Thanks to our sponsor in this effort, Chesapeake Eye Care and Laser Center, we are deploying our eco-stations at select sites, giving suggestions to site operators and encouraging kids to "get caught" doing something good and Green.
Take advantage of the free or $1 admission to sites from West Annapolis to South County. Immerse yourself in Maryland and our rich heritage!

Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay's Project Clean Stream, April 5
The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay's Project Clean Stream is your opportunity to take action for clean water by joining or organizing a stream clean up. You'll be part of an army of over 5,000 volunteers throughout the watershed who will pickup more than 350,000 pounds of trash at over 250 sites.

It's hard work, but fun and rewarding too. Want clean water? Act!
