An Incredible Opportunity -- extended until April!
Drawing for a Free Solar System for a Business that becomes a new Founding One Hundred Sponsor!
Have you been considering supporting Annapolis Green by becoming a Founding One Hundred sponsor? Here is an unbelievable incentive that will not only support us, but will save you money and bring you clean solar power for your business!
RER Energy Group is offering to build a FREE solar PV system for one new Founding One Hundred sponsor!
"The system will be offered to one business that becomes an Annapolis Green Founding Member between now and the April Green Drinks," said Dennis Satnick, Senior Consultant for RER. "A minimum 40kW system is being offered to create better understanding of the annual electric bill savings and illustrate how solar PV systems can be built with no capital outlay."
The new sponsors' names will be put into a basket and a drawing will be held at Green Drinksin April. Contact Dennis Stanick to learn more.

Top of the Line
Let's Celebrate on the eve of the Springtime equinox! Nothing could be more fitting after all this snow. Join us tomorrow at Homestead Gardens for our sixth year in the garden in Davidsonville. We enjoy being a part of their annual open house week, entitled "Setting the Stage for Spring." We'll tell you about three springtime events that call attention to our environment, our heritage and our civic pride.
Wednesday, March 19
5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Theme
Setting the Stage for Spring and Annapolis in Bloom
Sponsored by the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay's Project Clean Stream
"Setting the Stage for Spring" is a fitting title since we are focusing on these upcoming spring events: the downtown Annapolis hanging baskets and planters program, "Annapolis in Bloom;" Maryland Day "Growing a Little Greener" events; and the upcoming Project Clean Stream, a signature program of the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay.
As beautiful as the flowers, but tastier, we will once again be spoiled by the amazing and delicious complimentary appetizers donated by Herrington on the Bay and beverages provided by Mills Fine Wine & Spirits.
Eco-Lifestyle fashion. At our event, enjoy Chef Mike Archibald's new cuisine, that ranges from tomatoes caprese skewers with fresh basil and mozzarella to fresh and light spring rolls with marinated tofu and spring veggies to cocktail cupcakes infused with liqueurs. Read more on our website.
You'll enjoy the variety of wines and beers Mills will provide including Slack Tide Blanc, Girasole Hybrid Red Blend, St. Michaels Gollywobbler White, and these craft beers: Fordham Gypsy Lager and Evolution Brewing Lot #3. These will be available for a small donation to Annapolis Green. The Gardens will be open for shopping during Green Drinks with a special discount offered for those attending our event. Join us in the beautiful garden and learn more about:
The Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay's Project Clean Stream -- your opportunity to take action for clean water by joining or organizing a stream clean up. You'll be part of an army of over 5,000 volunteers throughout the watershed who will pickup more than 350,000 pounds of trash at over 250 sites.
How you can contribute to and be proud of Annapolis in Bloom -- the downtown Annapolis hanging flower program. The MainStreets Annapolis Partnership is heading up the crowdfunding effort for the flowers, which are provided, at-cost, by Homestead Gardens. The effort is being kicked off at Green Drinks! Here's your chance to participate to make Annapolis Green, Clean and Beautiful!
Maryland Day and how Annapolis Green and our sponsor, Chesapeake Eye Care and Laser Center, are making this celebration of All things Maryland "Grow a Little Greener."
