Top of the Line

We know you enjoy and appreciate what Annapolis Green does for our community.

  • You've supported us in online voting four our Red, Right Recycle! program that resulted in the award of our first grant -- allowing us to bring recycling to the boat shows for the first time ever.
  • You loyally attend Green Drinks Annapolis and have made many important connections there -- getting to know people you would not have otherwise met.
  • You learn about important issues from our emails and from our weekly radio program, Living Green in Annapolis.
  • You find out what's going on from our online calendar.

And, we have even bigger plans for 2014

Sustainable Fun ... We're expanding our Festival Greening program to the many lifestyle and sporting events and festivals in the Annapolis community.

Zero Waste ... Our goal this year is to help the Annapolis Rotary hold its first-ever Zero Waste Crab Feast!

Keep America Beautiful ... We're becoming Maryland's second KAB Affiliate, a step that will help accelerate many of our goals.

Yet, Annapolis Green needs some Greening too!

Our passion alone can't sustain what we would like to do.  Please help us. We have several ways:

  • Founding One Hundred
  • Friends of Annapolis Green
  • Corporate Sponsor for Events & Festivals
Please consider giving a few year-end, tax-deductible dollars to Annapolis Green so we can continue to bring our community together in the coming year.

Of course, we would like to welcome you as a Founding One Hundred sponsor. Donate $1000 and be added to the list of 26 other people and organizations (so far) who support our work. See the list at the left. The Founding One Hundred will be permanently listed on our website, letterhead and other materials.

If a $1000 Founding One Hundred donation is not possible, or you want to reach the $1000 in installments, consider becoming a Friend of Annapolis Green by donating an amount that is appropriate for you. Once you reach the $1000 level, you name will move from Friends of Annapolis Green to the Founding One Hundred list.

Donations should go through the Alliance for the Chesapeake
Bay, our fiscal sponsor. It will only take a minute and will mean so much! Visit our donation page to learn more, or click below to make your donation right now.

Thank you and have a wonderful holiday!

About Us

Annapolis Green began about seven years ago as a website dedicated to information about sustainability in the Annapolis area and as the umbrella organization for in-person networking around sustainability issues, Green Drinks Annapolis. We have grown to be a hub of information and calls to action in the community through our website -- annapolisgreen.com -- through Green Drinks, and also through our weekly radio program about local issues affecting the environment, "Living Green in Annapolis" on WNAV.

Annapolis Green fills a unique need, connecting the community by communicating an environmental message that is meaningful, positive and motivational, engaging residents, businesses, non-profits, government agencies, and visitors.

Our goal is to make the Annapolis area the Greenest in Maryland -- a place where sustainability is a way of life and a source of pride -- through our own programs and by accelerating the work of the legions of dedicated  environmentalists and celebrating success.
