Midnight Madness Night!
Maryland Inn
top of Main Street

5:30-7:30 p.m.
Free. No RSVP. Cash Bar

Next Thursday, Dec. 6, is Midnight Madness -- a magical night downtown, NOT to be missed!  And, for the second year Green Drinks will be partnering with our gracious host, Historic Inns of Annapolis, to kick off the evening! Come one, come all before or during your "shopping local" evening to celebrate the season, meet with friends and head back out again... till midnight!

Our theme is Celebrate the Season and support our downtown merchants. We won't even ask  you to sign in unless you are not now, but wish to be, on our mailing list. Please bring your friends with you! We will have a few tables of Green holiday gift ideas, local promotions, etc.

Please bring your information if it's fitting!

We'll be right inside the door from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. taking over the first floor of the historic and charming Maryland Inn at the top of Main Street. They'll be once again tempting us with delicious appetizers... including the now famous, sought-after potato bar. Their Cash Bar will feature organic wines too.

And, do yourself a favor and take a moment to tour around this beautiful steeped-in-history inn, including the Treaty of Paris Restaurant... as cozy and romantic of a setting as they come!

In addition, in case you want to treat yourself of visiting family members to a truly memorable experience, Historic Inns will offer a special Thank You rate of $89 for a night's stay. It's good Sunday through Thursday, with the Friday & Saturday rate being $109. What a marvelous opportunity to sleep where some of our founding fathers did. Click here to make reservations.

Rumor has it "one of our own" will be doing a special musical performance for us! There might be chorus too! We could be tempted to challenge the Green Drinker talent pool for a few carols!

Remember, parking is free at metered spots downtown (but you can't stay longer than the meter allows) through January 1.

Be festive, stop by, then stroll and shop .... there isn't a more festive night to be had in downtown Annapolis!

Cheers!

Elvia & Lynne

Giving Tuesday was yesterday, but make it makes sense every day

Yesterday there was a big national push is change the way we think of holiday giving and to move our dollars instead to benefit deserving organizations. That's a great sentiment, but it's not limited to one day.

Consider making a gift in someone's name to a local deserving organization, such as the ones below. It's quite often difficult for organizations to raise operations money so they can do their work. This is your chance to help. For links and information about what they do, please visit our website.
