You know summer is almost over when the State Fair
starts up. But cheese curds and other bad food give most of us enough amnesia to continue the good times. Layl once again is having a booth at the Creative Arts Activities Building. Josh will have some tiles he made for the Handmade Tile Association
which are being handed out at the Natural Built Homes Booth through half-off coupons via the Minnesota Tile Festival

For those of you following our daughter going to France
: she has only one week left before she flies out to her new family for a year. We are all excited and have some anxiety too. She worked hard this summer, making over $2500 herself by mowing lawns, painting walls, working art fairs, babysitting and updating artists' websites. It is always amazing to see your own child really work! Makes you feel like you succeeded as a parent (for a second). If you are so inclined and want to donate to her exchange student cause, she still has some needs. Check her out at the Go Fund Me site where you can learn about her exchange program and follow her progress through the coming year.
