Winter skin care
Dryer air in our homes and exposure to cold dry air with outdoor activities during the winter means you may need to adjust your skin care regimen. *Consider a heavier, more emollient moisturizer. *Tretinoin and hydroquinone are great prescription skin care products that target wrinkles and brown spots and are safer to use in winter months. *Don't forget your sunscreen! Winter clouds still allow UV rays through which damage our skin year round. Snow reflects UV and intensifies the effects. Wear at least an SPF 15 daily, higher when skiing. |
