Introducing Sculptra
In keeping with my commitment to offer you safe and effective facial rejuvenation options, I am pleased to offer Sculptra.
Sculptra®Aesthetic helps your body grow your own collagen over an extended period, improving lines and wrinkles and replacing lost volume. As loss of collagen is a key factor in aging skin, replenishing this lost volume yields a more youthful appearance.
Sculptra®Aesthetic, poly-L-lactic acid, is an injectable volumizer that stimulates natural collagen growth and lasts more than two years. Depending upon the amount of volume and collagen loss, some patients may require more than one injection session to achieve desired results. Touch up injections may be used from time to time for best results.

| Introducing the Thermage Total tip
The Total Tip provides an increase in "bulk heating", extending the volume of tissue heated by up to two times. This may lead to a more effective treatment, but has also led to more even heat sensation, making the treatment more comfortable.

As a busy physician and mom, I rarely have the option of down time, so I use Thermage as my go to treatment option. My last treatment was almost four years ago, but I had the opportunity to have a treatment last week with this new tip and it was fantastic. | Fall Tips for Facial Skin Rejuvenation
Now that our summer sun has faded into crisp autumn days, many of us are taking note of the damage our skin received during our glorious summer.
So what's a girl or guy to do to have great looking skin again?
- Continue your daily habit of spf use. We still need daily protection from damaging UV waves, even with cloudy skies.
- Develop or continue a good skin care regimen. The minimum regimen includes a cleanser, exfoliant, moisturizer and daily spf. Many patients use a more aggressive, prescription based skin care regimen in the fall and winter. Consult with Dr. Vessely about whether a tretinoin and hydroquinone regimen such as Obagi Nu-Derm is the right choice for you.
- Target Brown sun spots. IPL, Clear & Brilliant or Fraxel Restore can help reduce brown sun spots. Dr. Vessely can help you determine which option is best for you.
- Erase spider veins and tone down Rosacea. IPL or KTP laser treatments may be the best choice for these patients.
