April 15th - What Might You Discover on Retreat?

I am writing from sunny Cocoa Beach, Florida (although by the time you read this I will be in rainy New York!). I have had the amazing opportunity this weekend to join 18 other women and one of my mentors on a retreat for Yoga Business Professionals. Although the topic has been business, it has been like so many of the yoga retreats I have attended over the years, full of growth, self-discovery, facing challenges and being held in the energy of a group of conscious, like-hearted souls who have demonstrated the ability to see me and support me even when I did not feel like I was truly shining. In that, the experience of struggle turns around. I have so appreciated the love, light and laughter that is part of being present within a group of yoginis.

The photo here is of me and two of my dear friends who have been in this business mentoring program with me for the last year and a half. This is on the beach after an intense day of work. We are exhausted and exhilarated from this amazing shared experience.

I work constantly on keeping my business in alignment with my yoga and with my heart. I take trainings, talk to people and practice skills on a weekly basis. Still, every time I have attended one of these retreats, both my skill level and my connection to it all is amplified.

I guess that is why I love teaching retreats so much. I want to provide that container for my students. And at each retreat, it is my joy to witness the discoveries, the deepening and the simple relaxation into oneself that occurs for the participants, and again, for me.

I have a yoga retreat coming up in just a few weeks and I would love to invite you to consider joining me. You never know what you might discover, but I know it will open you up to another level of yourself and your yoga!

Namaste',

Leslie
