October 16th - Have You Practiced Yoga Today?
Do you know why we call yoga a "practice"?  And have you ever noticed that it's always practice and never performance, never a test? Well, sometimes it may test us, but it's one of the few things in life that we needn't concern ourselves with perfecting. We never need to become yoga masters or be the best at every posture to derive great benefit. It's all about the journey, what you discover along the way, and how you grow.

Your yoga classes are important for learning the basics and staying inspired, but in order to work with what you learn there and take it to another level, home practice is necessary as well. They compliment one another.

Studies show that practicing yoga for as little as 10 minutes every day vs. just 60 minutes one day per week brings you greater benefits including reduced stress, fewer aches and pains and greater peace of mind.
Attending class 2-3 times per week is deeply beneficial, but be sure to take at least 10 minutes alone each day to practice --for you.

Ready to step up your home practice?
Join Leslie this Saturday for her workshop,
Designing a Home Practice (see details below).
