January 30th - Postcards from India: Week 2
|
This week, Leslie and Kayci's journey through India continues! At this point, they're still busy exploring the eastern part of the country. According to their itinerary, they've made stops in the cities of Bhubaneshwar, Ranchi (to the north) and Puri, which is located right on the south eastern coast, overlooking the Bay of Bengal.
Their sight-seeing tours have included visits to the famous Konark Sun Temple (the image above is a close up of some of the intricate sculpture found all around its exterior), the Jagannath Temple in Puri, and the Gundicha Mandir. Both are ancient sites of Hindu worship located just a couple of miles away from one another.
For more visuals, we encourage you to check out the collection of images we've begun to compile over at the HeartSong Yoga Facebook Page.
Which are your favorites? Have you traveled to some of these very places yourself?
...Until next week!
