November 14th- An Attitude of Gratitude
The upcoming Thanksgiving holiday has us all thinking about matters of gratitude, perhaps a bit more than we might normally. We focus on giving and receiving during the holidays more than at any other time of the year. But what if we could hold on to that feeling of gratitude year round?

Studies show that choosing gratitude greatly changes our perception of life, making it easier to feel optimistic and happy. Many of us have developed simple rituals that allow us to express this. Maybe for you, gratitude takes the form of saying grace at the dinner table, making a habit of telling people who surround you in your daily life that you appreciate them, or thanking your body for all the work it does for you each time you come to your yoga mat.

Simple acts of gratitude helps us to remember that we mean more to each other than we think. Our actions do matter, though we may often feel that they go unnoticed in life. All the more reason to thank and recognize one another sincerely and openly as we move through our fast-paced lives! If not now, when?

Celebrate Thanksgiving with yoga! Leslie will lead a fun vinyasa class with some postures that are great for digestion! Class is offered by donation. Please bring canned food donations for Oregon Food Bank.
