October 17th- Enrich Your Journey with Meditation
|
We all have an inner life--one that must be carefully tended in order to truly sustain a rich and satisfying existence here in the world. To keep up with the many obligations we have to our work, our families and our friends, it is deeply important to make contact with our true nature and our energetic body each and every day, even if only for a few minutes.
Your yoga practice serves as a way to maintain this connection, as it inherently supports self-awareness through movement and focused breathing. Including meditation in your practice can help you to further cultivate your awareness and stay inspired for the self-discovery that must happen in order for us to grow as human beings.
Have you been looking for the right opportunity to begin a meditation practice? Maybe you've tried to meditate in the past, but didn't feel like you were "doing it right"? Not to worry--we have just the class for you!
Beginning this Sunday, October 21st from 6-7:30pm, Leslie will teach a 4 week Introduction to Meditation series, where she'll offer classes based on her ongoing experience and study of vipassana style meditation practice. The class is offered by donation, $10 per class suggested. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. No experience required and all are welcome!
