New Aviation Maintenance Credit Certificate ProgramLet your future take flight with STLCC's new Aviation Maintenance Program. The program offers two credit Certificates of Proficiency: Aviation Maintenance Airframe and Aviation Maintenance Power Plant.
Aviation companies of all types are making their home in St. Louis and they need licensed mechanics.
Regional data indicates that over 1,500 aircraft maintenance and service technicians are employed in high wage positions with 29% of them within ten years of retirement.
 If aviation and mechanical repair are among your passions, start earning your certificate and watch your future take flight.

What's that all about?
MRTDL is all about high skill, decent jobs in transportation, distribution and logistics.
The Mississippi River Transportation, Distribution and Logistics (MRTDL) consortium is comprised of nine community colleges, that are providing the training for these high skill, decent wage jobs through funding from the U.S. Department of Labor Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training Grant Program.
As a consortium member, STLCC will train and award industry credentials to 420 individuals.

Curry Named Interim President at FV Campus
Ruby Curry Named Interim President at STLCC- Florissant ValleyRuby Curry has been appointed interim president of STLCC's Florissant Valley campus. Curry has served the college in several different leadership roles for the past 38 years.
"I'm humbled and very appreciative of the opportunity," said Curry.
The staff of the Workforce Solutions Group salutes Ruby for her many years of service to the college and wishes her the best in her new leadership role at FV.

Christy Jaeger, Rod Nunn and Steve Long As Dr. Roderick Nunn,(pictured here center with Christy Jaeger, associate director of continuing education & Steve Long, associate vice chancellor, workforce solutions) readies for his new role as interim president of STLCC's Forest Park campus, the staff of the Workforce Solutions Group expressed their best wishes, and celebrated the successes of the division under his leadership.
