Essex Industries Champions a Lean Six Sigma Transformation
Essex Industries, a leading supplier to the aerospace, defense and first response, medical markets, launched their Lean Six Sigma program to lower costs, improve quality and increase employee involvement by holding training sessions for production, quality and manufacturing staff.
Lean Six Sigma combines the two management philosophies of Lean and Six Sigma into a single strategy. Lean manufacturing improves productivity, workflow and engagement by increasing employee awareness of waste and providing them with tools to eliminate it. Six Sigma improves production or service methods by eliminating process variations.
With funding assistance from a MO Customized Training grant, Essex is partnering with the Workforce Solutions Group, to delivery all of the specialized training needed for their Lean Six Sigma transformation.
