WHAT IS YOUR BODY WHISPERING TO YOU?
Is is time to move your body, or perhaps play in the water and sand? Could it be craving that deep  relaxation of a quiet afternoon with a book, or a nap? We want to encourage you to listen to your body's whispers as it is full of wisdom and will absolutely lead you in life, and health affirming directions. If you find it hard to hear sometimes, you might want to join us for a workshop this fall that is all about learning to connect and listen to your body's subtle, and not so subtle, communication.
Perhaps bodywork is what your body is asking for, perhaps it is beginning to scream about something. Summer is a wonderful time to take care of yourself with massage and bodywork. We have expanded our hours and have more staff available at more times throughout July and August. Whether you are needing deep tissue or pre-natal, hot stone or CranioSacral, we would be happy to see you.

 HOT STONE THERAPY WITH SHELBY
Have you tried a hot stone session? There are a few different styles, sometimes the stones are just laid on your body while the therapist works elsewhere. We think that is cheating. Even better, is when the therapist uses the stones as tools to enhance the work they are doing with their hands. This is how Shelby works, and we are hearing great feedback about her hot stone sessions.
Plan on an hour and fifteen minutes for the session. Shelby can see you Wednesday through Saturday this summer. Do you hear that? ... is that your body whispering "Hot Stone Massage"?

 BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS
Saturday, July 13th Sale
Amelia has been selling a great collection of family books and has them displayed at the office. (We had a sale for all the collectors last weekend.) These are large, coffee table type books - fine art, photography, fashion, jewelry, history, shoes, natural world, design -some older, many fresh and like new - most are full of wonderful illustrations, and are being sold for only $3 each (or 10 for $20).
The books will be sold this Saturday, and 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Days End Farm Horse Rescue. Why Days End Farm? Because Amelia's daughter Sarah, and her good friend Becky will be managing the sale and this is the charity that they want to support. So, take a few moments and stop in on Saturday from 9am until 2pm. If you can't make it Saturday, we will be working this Wednesday and Thursday also - text Amelia at 410-570-8927 to confirm that we are open. Pictures of most of the books are up on www.GemLake.com

 TRAVEL TO COLORADO
Thought of visiting Creede or South Fork?
We wanted to put a quick plug in for a visit to one of the most beautiful places in the world. The area has taken a real hit this summer from the West Fork fires, and they want everyone to know they are now open for business!
And if you enjoyed the Lone Ranger, much of it was shot in North Creede, and Johnny Depp has talked about how much he loves the place. You will, too. Put it on your bucket list. Creede will make you glad you did.

Amelia and Shelby each have an opening on Saturday. Shelby has openings next week on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Laura and Lynne are scheduling early August.
