Our individual practices have grown over the years and we simply needed more space. Owners, Laura and Amelia are looking forward to welcoming more highly skilled therapists in a variety of specialties to our practice, offering additional pathways to your health and wellness.

Our New Name

Alchemy Healing Arts Center

With this expansion, we have taken on a name that embraces our vision and goals for the center. We have illustrated this with our tree logo, drawn especially for us by a talented artist in England. Our tree has roots, is grounded and connected to both the earth as well as up to the heavens. The owl showed up with all its wisdom.

We deeply appreciate your support, whether you are new to us or a long term client and friend. Please share our news, our new website and location with the people in your world who might be interested.

We will celebrate in the New Year with an Open House and other events.

Greetings From Mia

We have had a lot of moving and changes in our world this year, Mia included!

Because of her husband's temporary assignment in Spain, Mia will be living in Madrid for the next three years (through October 2015) practicing massage from her home in the center of town.

We are keeping Mia active on the website as a valued staff member and look forward to her return. When she is in town for longer visits, she will be seeing clients - we promise to let you know, and her online booking will be activated.

M.T. says: I have been having a hard time healing since my abdominalplaasty surgery. I had excessive swelling and this was hindering my sutures from closing and the skin around my navel was extremely hard to the touch. I had been to several surgeons to get professional advice on what was happening with me. During one of these visits, the surgeon mentioned that I should look into having a lymphatic drainage/massage. This lead me to the "healing hands" of Amelia! Within the first visit, the hardness around my navel had softened up and I was eliminating fluid (through urinating) all day/night long. By my second visit, my stomach was visibly smaller and my incision began to heal. Doctors need to start recommending lymphatic drainage/massage with "every" surgery to aide in the healing process. Amelia worked wonders on me!
