If all
creation had been whispering the story of its own spirituality
for 13.5 billion years... we would call that story
creation spirituality.

This Sunday, November 1, Evolve@UCCA will be observing All Saints Day, All Souls Day, and Dia de los Muertos. You are invited to participate by bringing items for our ofrenda, an alter of remembrance.   Photos, mementos, flowers, candles, favorite food/beverage of beloved family and friends who have died will be gathered together for the evening as we welcome their presence in our live

 Wanderers, worshipers, lovers of leaving.
Ours is no caravan of despair.
 Come, yet again, come."

An Afternoon with Chagall at St. John's College
Caritas Society is pleased to present "A Movie and An Author,"

and a presentation and book signing by Stanley Meisler, author of Shocking Paris: Soutine, Chagall and the Outsiders of Montparnasse.

Chagall
is a 1963 academy award-winning documentary about the artist voiced by Vincent Price.   Shocking Paris tells the story of the School of Paris, a group of Russian Jewish artists in the 1920's and 30's who became a fixture on the Paris art scene.

The movie and book discussion will be held at the St. Johns College Francis Scott Key Auditorium and guests will be able to visit the companion exhibit of Chagall's etchings next door at the Mitchell Gallery.

Doors open at 2 p.m. and a wine reception will follow the presentations. Tickets are $20 before the event and $25.00 at the door. Tickets for raffle baskets of wine and gift certificates to area cultural events can also be purchased during the event.

Have you ever felt like you were looking for a way out?  Feeling the edge, only to realize there is no escape so what to do? Last Sunday was a good example.  I needed to be somewhere else, but instead I was at the mall with my God-family and I was stuck, thinking to myself I had other plans.   But then a friend was at the mall, someone with whom we had been trying to connect. I figured it out. Sometimes your plans just don't work... It's hard when when they don't. So if things change, go to the edge and go with it...You never know! Life is a journey:  LIVE IT!

Touching the Spirit Within...through
Dances of Universal Peace
Cathy Palmer and Musicians Stream Ohrstrom & Christa Palmer

The Dances of Universal Peace are simple, meditative, joyous, multi-cultural circle dances that use sacred phrases, chants, music and movements from the many spiritual traditions of the earth to touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and recognize it in others. They promote peace and integration within individuals and under-standing and connection within groups worldwide. There are no performers nor audience: new arrivals and old hands form the circle as everyone chants and moves together.

Matthew Fox at Parliament of the World's Religions
Creation Spirituality at the
Parliament of the World's Religions

Di Wolverton attended the Parliament of World's Religions in Salt Lake City last week. CSource shared a booth with Creation Spirituality Communities.  Di writes:

"It turned out to be a wonderful showcasing of Creation Spirituality. Matthew Fox was there and he and his team put on a Cosmic Mass.  Gail and her team put on Worship Jam.  I co-presented with a man who teaches aboriginal wisdom.  Many people visited our booth and signed up for our mailing lists.  I'm including a picture of our booth and my new banner - which includes the statement Wayne [Rev. Wayne Schwandt] gave to me through intuitive transmission.  I know Wayne really wanted to attend the Parliament - and I felt his presence there - I shared the story of how Wayne gave it to me  on the night he died.....

"We also distributed beautiful flyers about Creation Spirituality and bookmarks that describe the essentials. Wayne really wanted us to improve language about CS [Creation Spirituality] and make it so people can understand it. I think we are getting there!....."
