As we.....reflect on the blessings of our lives,

let us not forget the Original Blessing which is the fact we are alive!  We know that we are.  Gratitude is fundamental to Creation Spirituality.  Our spiritual life begins in awe and wonder and moves through all the myriad of experiences with the Divine that we encounter on our journey. 

As we all know, our lives are not always filled with experiences which lead easily to gratitude, but we know that the Divine is in all our life.  The struggle as human beings is to embrace all that life sends our way to search for the Presence in the midst of that experience.

In this time of great transition for our community, I give thanks for each of you who have pledged their love and support to the journey of Evolve Chesapeake.  Sometimes I am so aware of being a stranger in a strange land.  But it is a land for which I can give thanks.  And it is an experience for which I am grateful.....
