Trusting Love in Transition
"This is a season of change and possibility. Discernment and courage emerge from deepening awareness of God's active loving wisdom.....be still and attentive in this time of transition.....  The present is difficult and mysterious, the future is unknown. Yet there is an essential dynamic Love at the heart of all things that is ever-healing and creating newness. Be still and know that I am God. Our deepest call is to be still, open and trusting in all the vicissitudes of life. Renewed and refreshed by Love, we can embrace the new, secure in the winds of change."
-- Ann Dean, a spiritual director at the
                          Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation
GOOD NEWS FROM FOOD & WATER WATCH:
Maryland fracking moratorium will become law!

A 2 1/2  year fracking moratorium will soon go into effect in Maryland. Governor Hogan has said that he will allow the moratorium to become law, by neither signing nor vetoing the bill. This is the result of years of hard work by Food & Water Watch and many other allies, and it's a big step towards our ultimate goal of keeping fracking out of Maryland forever.

Journey to the Center: A Labyrinth Workshop

on Saturday, June 20, 2015 from 12:30 -3 pm

led by The Rev. Diana E. Carroll

                 St. Luke's Eastport Labyrinth

St. Luke's Episcopal Church

1101 Bay Ridge Avenue

Annapolis, Maryland 21403

This workshop will be an excellent introduction for those new to walking the labyrinth, as well as an opportunity for those with prior experience to deepen their practice. People of all religious backgrounds (and none) are invited to participate. The labyrinth is an ancient pattern for walking mediation and prayer. Many have found the journey to the center and back out again to be a source of healing and peace.

The Rev. Diana E. Carroll is a priest in the Episcopal Church and the rector of St. Luke's Church. She is a graduate of Kenyon College and Yale Divinity School. Pastor Diana has over 15 years of experience walking the labyrinth and has been speaking and leading workshops on it since 2009.

The workshop will be preceded by an Open Labyrinth Walk at noon, which anyone is welcome to attend.

Free and open to the public. Advance registration requested by calling 410-268-5419 or emailing office@stlukeseastport.org.  Visit www.stlukeseastport.org

Wednesday, June 27, 10am - 2pm at 888 First St NE, Washington, DC (Short walk from Union Station Metro):  Demonstration and vigil to bring
moral witness to FERC!
On June 27 we'll join with people of faith who are standing in solidarity with
frontline communities who have been directly impacted by FERC-approved projects. At 10am we'll gather at the FERC office in D.C. for an interfaith vigil with periods of silent witness and singing. Together we'll bring moral clarity to
the danger of fossil fuels and urge FERC to transform itself so that it can help shift our country to clean, renewable energy.  For questions, email Karen at  karen@gwipl.org.

Erine Sedicum
Have you ever been around those people that don't show humanness?  They don't want to face life's hardships and when they do they explode.  Have you ever been around the runner who can't process humanness?  They pretend it doesn't exist.  Then you have the feelers and they can have too much humanness.  These people pop at the drop of a hat.  You have the writers and we just document it for the World to see.  This is keeping it real and we are all different in how we handle life.  Yet people want to change who they are by trying to control their type and types are combinations.

Keeping it real also means knowing yourself and not giving a...  We need more keeping it real...more human not human-less!
