Meeting to Explore Body Prayer and Chant

Would you like to learn some sacred circle dancing (body prayer) and chant? Come join us this Sunday, July 27 at 4:00 PM and we'll explore these together.

"The gift of body prayer for me is that we sit with each one long enough to enter into the Presence together.  Calming our-
selves is one of the goals so that we can experience that thin place of Divine-Me connection or, in less binary thought, I can become aware of the Divine Presence which flows from within me and encircles me."         - Pastor Wayne

August 2, 2014 at Mayo Beach Park, Edgewater, MD from Noon to 6 PM

"I wanted to share this video clip of my 'Awe and Wonder' photos that I placed on YouTube....  I like to sit in a quiet room, play the video, relax, and go into a different 'zone' for a little while. I hope you enjoy it."

The Hoarder Struggle

After moving for the 5th time since September 2008, I realized the struggle I have with stuff.  I discovered 14 ace wraps plus other random madness.  I clean out a nice size only to have it come back in.  Perhaps I just can't see myself as complete without it.  The struggle to break the connection between the two of you.  You see one thing and they see another.  I'm doing better as I can release if the person understands I need to disconnect.  That disconnection takes a lot of emotional struggle.  The pain inside is like that of stripping one of who she/he is, as it has always been my safety net to interact with people.  Now I can release better but...  Right now, I have a storage unit I share with my ex-roommates and I need to release...Release...RELease...

RELEASE ASAP.  My challenge is the moments that come with the item and my interests as an educator is my greatest even if for just me.  It is my hope I can draw strength from the people important in my life, therefore assisting the RELEASE at least 40% of the my hoard/stuff.  Thanks for your support.

From the Editor
Just a word about the proposed facility in Cove Point for receiving natural gas, liquifying it and shipping it to Japan and India I attended a hearing in Annapolis last Wednesday in which was approval was requested to build a pier that would be needed to build the facility. The Public Works Board, on which Governor O'Malley sits, granted approved.  I strongly feel that this facility, so close to people's homes in Cove Point, is a grave risk to the families living there, the health of the environment including the Chesapeake Bay, would encourage fracking in Maryland and all its consequences, and would have almost no benefits for our State.             - Sylvia

If you want to awaken all of humanity,
then awaken all of yourself.
If you want to eliminate the suffering of the world,
then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself.
Truly, the greatest gift you have to give
is that of your own self-transformation.
