-- CCAN has collected more than 150,000 public comments in opposition to the proposed Cove Point fracked gas export facility. These comments were delivered to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on June 16.

-- Volunteers are needed to form a lunchtime picket line (noon to 1:30 PM) which will exist each day during the week of June 23-27 in front of FERC headquarters at 888 First St NE in Washington, DC.  

-- On July 13 from 1-4 PM at the Capitol in Washington, DC, CCAN is organizing a rally to call on President Obama and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to say "no!" to fracked gas exports at Cove Point and nationwide.  Leaders like Tim DeChristopher and Sandra Steingraber and, hopefully, thousands of other people demanding solutions to climate change will march together. It will be a critical time to act, as this summer FERC will be nearing a decision on Dominion Resources' proposed facility at Cove Point.
