Goodness is all joy.  It is not necessarily ease.
It is not guaranteed happiness.
But goodness is true joy.

Erine Sedicum
I am ME.

I'm not a singer
But I'm a songwriter

I call my singing
What is it...
I let go
and out it falls
I am free
just a bit of my madness
runs like  a river.

I'm not a singer
But I'm a songwriter

I call the words
coming out
the energy
and the spirit
dancing like a bird
over all the heavens
smiling just smiling.

I'm not a singer
But I'm a songwriter

I feel this music
in my soul...
sweetly
and I fall into a place
where pugs dance
and children laugh
I am ME...
(break)
I am ME.

I'm not a singer
But I'm a songwriter
that's all I'll ever be...
I am ME (3X).

FROM THE 8 POINTS OF PROGRESSIVE CHRISTIANITY:

Point 2.  By calling ourselves progressive, we mean that we are
Christians who recognize the faithfulness of other people who have
other names for the way to God's realm, and acknowledge that their ways are true for them, as our ways are true for us.

Jesus in the First and

Twenty-First Centuries

A Jesus Seminar on the Road

April 4 - 5, 2014

At Metropolitan Memorial United Methodist Church

3401 Nebraska Avenue NW Washington, DC

What does the rediscovery of the historical Jesus and his vision of the reign of God mean for the heirs of the Christian tradition? Does this Jesus have any relevance for people who claim no allegiance to Christianity? The presenters offer their insights and engage participants in a discussion about the relationship of Christianity to contemporary politics, economics, and global power.
