The universe is fundamentally a blessing.
Our relationship with the Universe fills us with awe.

These candles were our Fall Equinox Fire last Sunday.  As we gathered we each lit a candle for a concern we had, whether personal, community or world. We were then invited to sit quietly and listen for a moment to Beth's music while focusing on things in our life which are calling us to let go.
Photo of large bonfire from Wikipedia

This is how some of us may have imagined it: a big bonfire with all of us circling around it, dancing and singing. One day!

                             harvest's heat
                                                   by Christina Borgoyn

                                    your lonely hands arc in aching gold;

                                    I once knew a morning so white with age -
                                    we held our breath to stare at sky
                                    summer whispers to lonely ear,

                                    bleeding harvest's heat
                                    upon lands stretching out in autumn slumber

                                   when I found myself 'neath willow draping foliage -
                                   your voice, into midnight, cascaded

                                   until bones shone no white anymore.
