Dear Trinity Youth and Families,

Wow that was a terrific kick off Sunday! We had loads of children and youth at Celebration Sunday and at youth group. Here's what we have planned to help keep the fun, faith, and friendship going!

Children's Ministry
Singing Saints and Acolyte Training begin this Sunday September 20th too! Interested children 5th grade and under meet in Angus Hall at 9:00 to join Singing Saints and acolyte training.

Children's formation programs continue THIS SUNDAY September 20th at 10:00 a.m. for Godly Play and Explorers in Trinity Hall.

Godly Play teachers and Greeters, we are meeting Sunday morning in the Library for a scintillating discussion about best practices and plans for the season.

Faith Full Families begins next week, September 27th. This year we begin at 4:00 p.m. in Trinity Hall with programming and follows with the 5:05 Family liturgy. Our focus this month is on liturgy as the work of the people. We're beginning with some acolyte training and an instructional eucharist.

The All Church Retreat is Oct 2-4.  Families with small children won't want to miss the fun! Interested K-5th graders will work with master artist Lisa Thorpe during the adult formation programming on Saturday.

Youth Ministry

Saturday all youth (and especially mission trip youth) are encouraged to participate in the Hearts for Justice event  at Trinity from 9:30-12:30. Come learn about social justice and incarceration. Bring your stories from Ferguson, your knowledge from our mission trip, and your passion for justice.

Sunday night is the Youth Group (and parents) Pool Party 6:00-8:00  p.m. at the Andrew home  Details below. Come to learn about our program year and to plug in!

Have you met our wonderful youth ministers, Meg, Ross, Ben, Christy, and Amy? Each of them will be helping out to different degrees this year, and I am grateful to them for sharing their gifts! Several of them will be at the pool party for parents to get to know them better.

September 27th youth group will include fun acolyte
training and learning about liturgy. Youth, please join the 5:05 family liturgy if you can.

The All Church Retreat is Oct 2-4. Youth Group members are encouraged to join youth group camping down the hill from the Ranch House. Carpools forming. Are you in?
