As Freestyle music makes its remarkable return, Freestyle artist get a second wind, and shower America with Freestyle club and concert events. The struggling life of the Freestyle artist slowly levels off, and their greatest fears are finally put at ease. All except one artist that is, Angel,  known as The Original CoverGirl, or better yet, "The OCG".  Angel's history and hard work had become threatened, as old management attempted to re-enter her life and disrupt what her current management had been working so hard to rebuild.
As the lead singer of the original hit girl group "The Cover Girls", Angel's unique look and sound held one of  Freestyle's most  familiar signatures. Drama behind the scenes boiled over, and old management acted upon their "my way or the highway" attitude, concocting a plan that would try and recreate "The Cover Girls", a feat that did nothing but add mockery to the treasured Cover Girl name and hurt, an already beat up Freestyle market. That plan might have been successful if Recordings and Videos that focused solely on Angel didn't exist, but as we now see, God is the best of planners!
Phone calls and letters from old management flooded the market, threatening law suits on anyone who dared do business with Angel. But this time, things were different. Angel was not only managed by new company La' Entertainment, she married it's owner Latif Mercado, adding that extra layer of security to her reviving career. Young and fearless, Latif took on the forces that be, and stood up for the five foot one inch victim of "Freestyle's Big 'Ol Bully". Burning many bridges in the process, the young manager stood constant and focused straight ahead, and as time went on, he realized that those old bridges really didn't matter after all.
Stemming from new artist compilation label Stylin' Free Records, La' Entertainment, had now grown to become a major player and primary supporter of the Freestyle genre. developing new ideas and concepts that would not only try and rebuild the market, but possibly reset it to it's previous standing. With the help of a remarkable team, incredible fans and loyal artist, La' developed a platform that would host Freestyle's largest on-line community and i-Radio Station, La' Radio Live, creating a  home for the nearly forgotten Freestyle market.
Angel (OCG) is back now, performing more than ever, and whether alone or as one third of the infamous S.A.L. with sister acts Lil' Suzy and Lisette Melendez, her show is as amazing as ever, full of energy and great great memories.
Angel's natural beauty and voice have proven timeless as she performs some of her greatest hits such as Because Of You, My Heart Skips A Beat, Inside Outside, Show Me and  many more, she stands center stage, looking out at the sea of people who have supported her for so many years. Unable to speak over the applause, Angel tries deperately to hold back her tears. She smiles, and her trademark green eyes seem say to her audience, "Thank You! Thank you, For never forgetting me
