Shepherd's Gate - Drop off Donations   Friday!!

The Amador Band Council will soon be starting its annual philanthropy project, a way to give back to the community. This year, we will be donating to Shepherd's Gate, an organization that helps shelter women and children from abusive homes. All donations are welcome, but Shepherd's Gate is specifically looking for paper goods, such as paper towels and toilet paper. A full list of donation items will be posted around the school campus and neighborhood. We will be collecting donations in the band room the next two weeks. In addition, there will be a community drive-through collecting donation items for convenience after school on Friday, April 25th, in the front parking lot at Amador.

If you have any questions please contact Colleen McCullough .

RA News

Hi everyone!  It appears like we are in the homestretch to close out this school year.  But, we do have a few things to take care of before we enjoy the summer and one is to get some paperwork started for next  year.  So, during the two weeks of MAY 12-23, we are running a competition between classes to see which class can bring in the most volunteer forms.  Yes, you can help the band out AND your student by simply completing the PUSD Volunteer Form and turning it in.  Just to be clear-this does not automatically sign you up to work any event.  However, next fall when you see how much fun we are having and you want to volunteer, you will be all set to go!!!  Click HERE  to download and print a copy and then have your student deliver the completed form to Mr. Grantham.  Whichever class has the most forms turned in, will win an Ice Cream Sandwich party.  Hey-it doesn't get better than that!!

Thanks much!
