City Council to Honor Band on
 Feb 19

The Pleasanton City Council will be honoring the band's performance at the Fiesta Bowl  on February 19 at the City Council Chambers.  Mr. Grantham, drum majors and members of the  AFM Board will be on hand to accept the award and thank the community for their support.  The award will be given out at 7pm at the City Council chambers.  Band supporters are welcome to attend and show support. It will also be broadcast on TV.

Thank You!!

Thank you to the 50+ parents and 100+ students who helped to organize and present a WONDERFUL Campana Jazz Festival! The visiting directors were very complimentary about your hospitality and helpfulness. I appreciate your excellent support, and the guidance and leadership of our Directors - Mr. Aubel and Mr. Grantham.  Thank you!

Please join me in welcoming the 2014 Campana Chairperson, Marcia Ikeda! The best way to support Marcia in her first year is to volunteer, early, and let her know you'll come back and do it again!

With gratitude,

Marilyn Palowitch

All Uniforms have been collected!

Thank you to the volunteers who helped collect marching band uniforms, take jackets to the cleaners, and sort and organize all of the uniform items so they are ready for this fall's uniform fitting!  This is a huge job (about 50 person-hours to date) and we are nearly done.  (Whew!)  So a big thank you to Jackie Stewart, Maria Overly, Lisa Amezcua, and Barb Kennedy!

We're on track to be done in record time!
