Thank you to all the volunteers and best wishes to all the participants. A visitor's guide can be found at the Amador music website.

Can you help? These 2 important jobs still need a volunteer.

2:30 pm to 5:00 pm - Instrument Storage. Sit comfortably in a hallway of instruments, reading your favorite book.

12:00 pm to 1:30 pm - Workshop Monitor. Check Wristbands, be the Responsible Adult, keep the Adjudicator on schedule. Learn about Jazz while you are at it.

If you can do either of these jobs, please contact Marilyn. A FREE Admission is given to every Volunteer.

Amador Winter Guard takes top honors at home show!

Congratulations to the winter guard on bringing home 1st place in the Scholastic AA division at their season opening competition on Saturday.  The guard looked great and turned out an energetic performance, earning a strong opening score of 61.69!  Good luck at WGI Regionals this weekend.

A special thank you to Beth and Andy Foort and their amazing team of volunteers for putting on a well-run, organized and professional event.  AFM shines again!

Campana 38 coming up! Saturday will be a great day for jazz education as AFM sponsors the 38th annual Campana Jazz Festival.  The day kicks off at 8:00 am and runs all day in the Amador Theater, the Multi-Purpose Room and the Band Room as jazz groups from all over the bay area perform and compete at this annual event.

Wind Ensemble I/II chaperones needed... On Friday March 8 both wind ensembles will be traveling to Chabot College in Hayward for the annual Chabot Wind Band Festival.  I am in need of 2-4 chaperones per group to travel to and from the event in the afternoon/evening.  If you are a cleared parent volunteer and are free to help, please let me know.  Chaperoning for a concert band trip is very easy and requires mostly just your presence...very little work required and you get to watch a great performance!  Thanks for your consideration.
