Jazz parents - take note your students will be scheduled to perform and be present throughout the day. Parent Volunteers are needed for all kinds of jobs, from hospitality to technology and everything in-between.  Say you'll help - and we'll find you a job suited just for you and your availability.  Please contact Marilyn Palowitch to volunteer.

CAMPANA JOB OF THE WEEK:  Campana Program Editor. Help from the comfort of your home! Using the 2012 Campana program file as your template, layout the program with new ads and new content, all provided to you. Much of the program layout stays the same, and content is updated with new dates, times, and information. It helps to know Microsoft Publisher, or to be comfortable with publishing software in general. The bulk of the editing is done in January, but you can  get familiar with file now.  Please contact Marilyn Palowitch for more information or to say "I can help!"  Thank you!

Championships Week is here!

WBA Championships in Fresno this weekend!
The itinerary is posted on the music website.  All of the information you need to know is there.  Students are spending most of the weekend in their band uniform so please encourage light packing for the weekend.  A soft-sided duffle bag is encouraged so that there is room for all of the luggage on the buses.

Jooners signups -

Canopies are needed for the WBA championship event this weekend. The Clovis weather forecast currently calls for a 50% chance of rain on both Saturday and Sunday. We have 3 canopies at the moment and required 10 last year to keep the students dry. You may drop them off in the trophy room between now and before practice at 8:30am Saturday morning. Please ensure they are labeled with your name and phone number.

Volunteers are also needed for meal, snack and cake service at WBA this weekend. Please check Jooners and see how you can help!

Finally, we have secured catering for the Senior Banquet Sunday and as in years past have extra servings for Senior parents and guests. We ask for a donation of $10.00 per parent or guest to help defray the costs of the additional meals. Please see Marianne, Sher Butler or me for your ticket ahead of the meal on Sunday.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

Thank you to all who have helped out as RAs this season! The band could not have performed without the RAs who set up shako and plume carts, fixed hair, stuck in plumes, handed out gauntlets, filled water bottles, shopped for snacks and supplies, updated first aid kits, watered thirsty students, set up and cleaned up snacks, guarded equipment, loaded buses, chaperoned on buses and made sure that students got on and off the field safely.

We are set and ready for WBA Championships coming up this weekend.
