Seeking an ASL interpreter to attend five events to translate for an active Girl Scout adult volunteer and/or work with children. Events run approximately two hours. Programs, locations, dates and roles are as follows:

Mansfield: Junior Jamboree - help run an ASL workshop (January 26)

Waltham: Sign Language Tea - interpret for volunteer  (March 3)   

Boston: Party for the Planet event - interpret for volunteer - Franklin Park Zoo (April 21)

Girl Scout Shop Assistant

We are looking for friendly volunteers to assist with inventory control, stock, filling online sale orders and customer service in our Girl Scout Shops. All hours of operation are available and we will train you on the job. Please check our website for store hours or call for more information. Girl Scout Cookie Cupboard Assistant

We need friendly, multi-taskers to assist customers, restock inventory, clean up, file and complete other office duties as needed. Join us and get a taste of the cookie business! Hours are flexible during the cupboard hours, which are:

Boston: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10am-4pm, and Fridays 10am-2pm.

Middleboro: Tues., 10am-4pm, Wed., 12pm-7pm, Thurs., 10am-4pm, Sat., 9am-12pm

Girl Scout Troop Organizer

Andover, Hamilton/Wenham or Newburyport

We need an organized adult with excellent inter-personal, phone and email skills to help us organize a town full of Girl Scouts into troops. Training and organizational resources will be provided and you would work directly with the troop volunteers in the community. Volunteers must become a registered member of Girl Scouts and pass a criminal background check. This position does not require working with girls.

Girl Scouts at the West End House need two fun and organized adult volunteers to lead the girls on their Girl Scout Journey. The girls would like to earn badges, play games, sell cookies and perhaps take field trips. Now through June. 

Girl Scout Troop at Warren Prescott School

Boston - Charlestown

The Girl Scout Daisy (grades K-1) troop at the Warren Prescott School needs two adult volunteers to lead them on their Girl Scout Journey and help them earn badges. The required training is free and this troop will meet weekly now through June.  

Girl Scout Troop Volunteer

Boston - Chinatown

The mixed-age Girl Scout troop at Chinatown Neighborhood Network needs a team of at least two adult volunteers to lead the girls on their Girl Scout Journey. The girls would like meet bi-weekly to earn badges, play games and have a great time. The volunteers and staff will work together to choose the best day of the week for meetings.

Boston - Dorchester, Thursdays, 6-7:30pm

The mixed-age Girl Scout troop at Codman Square Library needs two adult volunteers to lead the girls on their Girl Scout Journey. The girls would like to earn badges, play games and have a great time on Thursday evenings.

The Cadette Girl Scouts (grades 6-8) at Mother Caroline Academy in Dorchester need one additional fun and organized adult volunteer to help lead the girls on their Girl Scout Journey. The girls meet on Fridays from 3:30-5pm and they would like to work on badges, advance their leadership skills and see what special talents you have to share with them. Training and curriculum will be provided free of charge.

The Brownie Girl Scouts (grades 2-3) and the Daisy Girl Scouts (grades K-1) at Mattahunt Community Center each need two fun and organized adult volunteers to lead the girls on their Girl Scout Journey. The girls will begin meeting in January and would like to work on badges, sing songs and see what special talents you have to share with them. Training and curriculum will be provided free of charge.

The Daisy Girl Scouts (grades K-1) at St. Patrick's School in Roxbury need two fun and organized adult volunteers to lead the girls in their troop. The meeting day and time are flexible and they would like to work on badges, sing songs and see what special talents you have to share with them. Training will be provided free of charge.

Junior Girl Scout Volunteers Needed

Boston - Roxbury

At least two fun and organized volunteers are needed to lead the troop at the St. Katherine Drexel School in Roxbury. The girls had been working with students from Northeastern University, but those students have graduated and the troop needs new leadership. The girls would like to work on badges, awards, leadership skills and new skills and talents you would like to share with them!

The Girl Scouts at the BTU need two fun and organized adult volunteers to lead the girls on their Girl Scout Journey. The girls would like to earn badges, play games, sell cookies and perhaps take field trips. This troop meets weekly from 3-4:30pm. Training and curriculum will be provided free of charge.

A Girl Scout group (grades K-3) needs two fun and organized adult volunteers to lead the girls in their six-session Girl Scout Journey. The girls will meet on Thursdays, bi-weekly from 4-5pm, beginning in February. The girls would like to work on badges, sing songs and see what special talents you have to share with them. Training and curriculum will be provided free of charge.

Data Entry

Waltham

The Girl Scout office in Waltham is seeking a detail-oriented volunteer to complete online data entry for the program department. The project requires basic computer skills. Training will be provided in the office and then the work could be completed at home. The job needs to be completed within the next few weeks.

Girl Scout Organizer

Woburn

Are you outgoing? Do you enjoy planning parties and events? We could use your skills! The Woburn Girl Scout Organizer will help with recruitment events in the town, organize the girls into troops, identify new leaders, and place new girl members into existing troops. Training will be provided free of charge.

Girl Scout Registrar

Woburn

Help behind-the-scenes as the Girl Scout registrar in Woburn. Work closely with the local Girl Scout Council office, collecting and filing new member paperwork and distributing patches and other information to Woburn troops. All training will be provided free of charge.
