And Another Thing or Two
So many things to be thankful for in November!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For one...all of our friends who have the dedication to write a post of thankfulness each and every day! Now that's impressive!
For two...all of our members and friends who support us financially.  thanksgiving-illustration.jpg
While the NDSC is best known for hosting our annual convention (the largest of its kind anywhere in the world), and educating thousands of people during our convention weekends, we know that helping one family at a time through our national center is just as important. With your help, we continue to help change the lives of new parents just learning about Down syndrome; children who are being inadequately served by their schools; teenagers navigating the challenges of adolescence; adults who are learning more about self advocacy and self determination; and siblings, grandparents, extended family and professionals, who all want to make a difference in the life of someone with Down syndrome.
We thank you for your support. Read below for an opportunity to support the NDSC, AND get a little something in return!
Convention Registration - FREE!
We're giving it away! We're giving away the opportunity to receive a free registration for the 2014 National Down Syndrome Convention in Indianapolis.
Crowdrise, an online fundraising platform, has announced a holiday fundraising challenge - the organization that raises the most money will win $100,000! To offer you an incentive to assist NDSC in becoming the winning organization, we're giving away one free individual convention registration to everyone who raises $1,000 or more on the Crowdrise online giving site!
It's easy to be involved - all you have to do to get started is visit www.crowdrise.com/3-2-1Give and select "Fundraising for this Campaign".
Beginning November 18th and running until January 9th, you can ask friends, family members and co-workers to donate to NDSC on your Crowdrise website. Everyone who is successful raising $1,000 or more will receive a free individual convention registration.
Signing up on Crowdrise takes 5 minutes or less.  Need help?  Call Rebecca Davis at 770.604.9500 or email rebecca@ndsccenter.org
Don't want to help raise funds, but want to support the National Down Syndrome Congress?  Donate online at http://www.crowdrise.com/3-2-1give
