Greetings!

Those of you testing SerDes devices operating at bandwidths above 10Gbits/sec know how difficult it can be even in the lab. The challenge of testing these ultra-high speed applications in high production test is even more daunting. Today, in cooperation with MultiLane SAL,  we are pleased to announce new products and services that will enable you overcome these challenges. SFP SerDes connector

Solutions for High Volume Testing of 10G, 16G, & 25G SerDes Devices

SerDes eye chart

The market for 10G, 16G and 25G SerDes applications is rapidly growing due to the increased bandwidth demanded by applications like system backplanes, optical links, multi-gigabit Ethernet, imaging interfaces, etc.

Device manufacturers who provide such serial interfaces have unique challenges when it comes to high volume testing. Speeds required may exceed your test equipment capabilities. Instruments need to be interface with the ATE software. Additionally, the need for positioning high performance instruments in close proximity to the DUT requires very tight mechanical integration.
