 The Massachusetts Conference Board of Directors will ask delegates to the 216th Annual Meeting, June 12 - 13, for authorization to sell the two Conference-owned buildings at the Craigville Retreat Center.
The Board voted last fall not to renew the lease to operate the Cape Cod facility, which is primarily owned by the Christian Camp Meeting Association. The Conference will cease managing the facility at the end of 2015.

MACUCC offering scholarships to #NCLI15
The Massachusetts Conference is offering scholarships to attend the National Church Leadership Institute being held August 10 - 13 at the Andover Newton Theological School in Newton.
Thirty full Clergy Scholarships (a $299 value) will be available to clergy, and ten One Day Lay Person Scholarships (a $125 value) will be offered.
The Conference is co-sponsoring the event with the Center for Progressive Renewal.

Israel Palestine Task Team
Much has happened since the Israel Palestine Task Team brought a Resolution of Witness to the last Annual Meeting as a study document. In Palestine/Israel, evictions, the bull-dozing of houses and the killing of young Palestinians continues. Rockets have flown toward Israel. Gaza was attacked, the blockade continues, and supplies for rebuilding are not allowed to get through. The "peace process" has ended, at least for now, and Prime Minister Netanyahu was resoundingly re-elected after promising that there would never be a Palestinian state during his tenure.

216th Annual Meeting
REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MONDAY, MAY 25, at 4 PM.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Anyone who wishes to stay overnight at UMass MUST register by 4 PM on Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day). This deadline is FIRM and has been set by UMass; MACUCC staff have no flexibility after Monday. There are virtually no hotel rooms available in Amherst for the night of June 12th, so anyone wishing to stay must reserve space by Monday at 4 PM.
