V. Ann Griggs, CNP discusses contraception options for patients over 40
 Many women think of their 40's as a time when they no longer have to think about childbearing or preventing pregnancy. However, up to 80% of women in their 40's can still get pregnant and a large number of these pregnancies are unplanned.
There are now many more safe options for contraception for these women than ever before, even for those with medical problems. The providers at Southdale OB/GYN believe it is important to address contraception with all premenopausal women, with the goal of finding the ideal method for each individual woman.
