Message from the President

Welcome sunshine and green grass!

Congratulations to Ontario for hosting a successful 2013 CAA Convention.  The sessions were fabulous and very interesting...it was great to see the variance in ages of the participants and the new ideas brought forth.  The mingling of the youth at the convention created a fleury of excitement.  We look forward to Moose Jaw and anyone that hasn't been to the CAA Convention this year or last since the format has changed to include the Rancher Endorsed Day...it is a MUST to mark for next year!

We invite you to come out and support our youth this summer at the many shows that they have...the largest ones being:
Summer Synergy July 12 @ 9 am in Olds
CJAA Showdown in Armstrong July 27 @ 10 am in Armstrong, BC
Alberta Junior Angus Show August 13 @ 9 am in Bashaw
Canadian Junior All Breeds August 17 @ 10 am in Bashaw

Mark your calendar to join us after the Alberta Junior Angus Show August 13 in Bashaw for the Annual AAA AGM, come out and voice your concerns, then stay for supper and help us honor our "Hall of Fame" recipients.  It will be a great day!

The 40th Anniversary of Farmfair is this fall and the AAA will be hosting their Gold Show & it will be the National Angus Show as well.  Farmfair has a new format similar to the World Angus Forum @ Spruce Meadows and you can book "space" and use how ever you deem fit.  You can have a booth, cattle, or whatever you wish.  Come out and show your ANGUS PRIDE!!

That is all for now, hope to see you at one of our great events this summer!
