Special Feature... Feature
Picnic Take Out

The hardest part of going for a picnic is filling your basket... I've listed 6 places that make it easy.

You can still get your picnic going for the remainder of the Metropolitan Opera's Summer Recital Series (tonight is in Brooklyn Bridge Park).

Central Park West - Telepan

72 West 69th Street (at Columbus Ave)

For just $21 per person, mix and match favorites to stock your basket for the day. Fill out their picnic form and you're ready to go! Soon they'll be opening in Tribeca, making it easy for your picnics on the Hudson River.

Central Park East - Butterfield Market

1114 Lexington Avenue (at 78th St) & 346 East 92nd Street (at 1st Ave)

Everything from baked goods to fresh produce and caviar... get a custom basket for a group picnic from their catering department for a special experience; they'll even deliver.

Central Park South - Épicerie Boulud

1900 Broadway (at 64th St)

"Build the Perfect Picnic" for just $22... your meal comes in a recyclable tote bag and you can even add on a picnic blanket!

Washington Square Park - Murray's Cheese Shop

254 Bleecker Street (at Cornelia St)
My favorite village spot for mouth-watering cheeses... fill your basket with specialty sandwiches, antipasti, pickles, crackers, and anything else you can think of.

Prospect Park - Fanny

425 Graham Avenue - Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Delicious French takeout to take your picnic up a notch... the sandwiches are delicious and the fried artichokes are my favorite.

Perfect Picnic

123 Ludlow (Rivington & Delancey St)

Although they are located on the Lower East Side, they will deliver anywhere in Manhattan. They have packages ranging from simple at $14 to "Platinum" with caviar and fine chocolates at $500... butler picnic setup available as well. No matter which you choose, they'll give you a picnic surface, cutlery, and a tote to carry it.
