June 7 to 9 Governors Ball NYC Music Festival
Head out to Randall's Island for great music by Guns N' Roses, Kings of Leon, Kanye West, to name a few. Not just music, but art installations, local food vendors, and plenty of activities (ping pong, yoga, and more!)
At the Delacorte Theater, this one night performance stars Kevin Kline, Glenn Close, Martin Short and will include honoring Nora Ephron, longtime Public Theater board member.
June 11 Sinatra in the Park
City Parks Foundation Gala presented at Summer Stage in Central Park. I'm looking forward to hearing Pizzarelli and his swing band, along with other performers singing the tunes of "Ol' Blue Eyes."
This discussion is taking place after certain 7pm performances of Ann, which portrays the life of former Governor Ann Richards of Texas. Not only is the play amazing, but you'll experience a double treat by staying for conversation with fabulous women. On the 11th, Eve Ensler, a playwright, performer, and activist.
June 12 & 13 Swinging with the Big BandsJazz at Lincoln Center's Allen Room presents Michael Feinstein hosting Wynton Marsalis and Vince Giordano's Nighthawks, with additional vocalists exploring the musical movement of the 1930s.

I enjoy visiting the café after I tour the European sculptures and decorative arts galleria on the floor that houses the entrance to the rooftop. The Peninsula Hotel 700 5th Avenue (at 55th St) Rooftop bar with décor reminiscent of Shanghai in the 1930s. Stylishly chic! The Ning Sling is their signature drink.
