From 6-9pm, celebrate culture and arts at the best car-free block party of the year. 10 of the city's top museums will open their doors from 82nd to 105th Street... free admission!

Taking place at POP International Galleries Midtown from 5-9pm, take a peek at the lost, forgotten and secret works of this creative genius that was part of all of our childhoods!

Rollin' with the Homies 
On view at SoHo AFA Gallery, Tom Everhart incorporates his beloved characters, Charlie Brown and Snoopy, into many of his paintings.
 



Through July 28 John Singer Sargent Watercolors
At the Brooklyn Museum, the exhibit brings together works from both the Brooklyn Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts Boston.

June 7 to 9  Governors Ball NYC Music Festival

Head out to Randall's Island for great music by Guns N' Roses, Kings of Leon, Kanye West, to name a few.  Not just music, but art installations, local food vendors, and plenty of activities (ping pong, yoga, and more!)

The American Theater Wing's 67th Annual Tony Awards
Neil Patrick Harris hosts this tribute to Broadway.  
At the Delacorte Theater, this one night performance stars Kevin Kline, Glenn Close, Martin Short and will include honoring Nora Ephron, longtime Public Theater board member.   

June 11  5th Annual Hudson Square Music & Wine Festival
After-Work Backyard Party at City Winery, occurring every Tuesday through August 27th. Food, wine, and entertainment all available.

  Sinatra in the Park
City Parks Foundation Gala presented at Summer Stage in Central Park. I'm looking forward to hearing Pizzarelli and his swing band, along with other performers singing the tunes of "Ol' Blue Eyes."
This discussion is taking place after certain 7pm performances of Ann, which portrays the life of former Governor Ann Richards of Texas.  Not only is the play amazing, but you'll experience a double treat by staying for conversation with fabulous women. On the 11th, Eve Ensler, a playwright, performer, and activist.

June 12 & 13  Swinging with the Big Bands
Jazz at Lincoln Center's Allen Room presents Michael Feinstein hosting Wynton Marsalis and Vince Giordano's Nighthawks, with additional vocalists exploring the musical movement of the 1930s.

This year's Rumble at the Rock features chefs from New York and California battling it out in Rockefeller Center. Proceeds benefit Citymeals-on-Wheels.

Sample New York state sparkling wines while tasting the freshest local oysters; located at Brooklyn Oenology in Williamsburg.
