DiningFor the Foodie...

From time to time I'll share with you my restaurant picks on many of my favorite streets of NYC!

This week I've highlighted a section of Thompson Street... a picturesque tree lined-street in SoHo. I like strolling into the boutiques, visiting the mom-and-pop shops and dining in these wonderful restaurants (all between Spring & Broome Streets).

Visit OpenTable to make reservations.

Kittichai

60 Thompson Street

Minimalist, serene and elegant décor in the hip 60 Thompson Hotel. The Feng Shui setting is like no other.  I was mesmerized by the beautiful water lilies that continually circled the pond in the middle of the dining room.  Thai cuisine at is finest; try the Barbecue Baby Back Ribs and Grill Arctic Char. Save room for the Chocolate Fondant Cake.

Pera

54 Thompson Street

Outstanding Mediterranean cuisine. Select from an open and airy bar with a TV to watch NYC sports, an intimate dining room, or if the weather cooperates, dine and drink al fresco on the rooftop or charming patio. All 4 settings are unique.  The fresh Mediterranean Sea Bass is excellent.

Vin et Fleurs

69 Thompson Street

I love the name... wine and flowers!  French cuisine with an American twist.   A New York wine list, Kobe Sliders, Croquet Monsieur (of course), and lovely fresh flowers on each table.
