The Florida Department of Transportation is starting a resurfacing project along State Road 472 (SR 472) between the Martin Luther King Jr. Beltway and Graves Avenue on July 18. The project includes milling and resurfacing of the travel and turn lanes along SR 472, as well as the entry and exit ramps at the Interstate 4 (I-4) interchange. There will also be some drainage and guardrail improvements.
The work will require periodic single lane closures and nighttime ramp closures that will require detours using Orange Camp Road and Saxon Boulevard. Click HERE for a project flier with more information. Updates on the project regarding lane closures and ramp closures can always be found on www.cflroads.com.

| Keeping Our Neighborhood Safe:
As a friendly reminder, "don't make it easy for a thief to steal your vehicle or personal belongings". Please remove all valuables from your parked vehicle, lock your doors and turn on an outside light during the evening. For those who would like to monitor the ongoing crime activity in DeLand and the immediate area, the following website links are provided for your information:
The best deterrent to crime is our residents working together, so if you observe any suspicious behavior, please contact the DeLand Police Department. For emergencies, call 911 or for non-emergencies call (386) 626-7400.
The Security Patrol Program will commence on Friday, April 15th. Twenty hours of weekly roving patrol will be performed on a varying schedule so that routes and schedules remain unpredictable to the criminal elements.

| Friendly Reminder: Pet Waste
Dogs must be kept on a leash at ALL times when outside the home or fenced in area. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up all pet waste on the common areas. While most homeowner's feel they have verbal control over their animal, it is stated in our Governing Documents that dogs must be leashed while out in the community. This is for the safety of your neighbors, other animals, wildlife and your pets as well.
