Reinvent Yourself with PT Get Moving in 2014!

The keys to a healthy life are movement and function. Limitation in mobility and function impacts quality of life and can greatly limit your ability to be an active and joyful participant in society.
The good news is that the benefits of physical therapy are far-reaching. This makes it one of the most sought after treatments for patients with a variety of illnesses, conditions and limitations. PT can help reduce pain, improve mobility and help patients to live happier, healthier lives, with improved quality of life through optimization of movement.
The year 2014 brings renewed confidence from the medical (and patient) community in the benefits of movement and rehabilitation. Licensed physical therapists adhere to strict professional standards, collaborate with other healthcare professionals and create innovative and customized treatments to help you live your life with abundance and energy.
Contact us to learn how we can help and support you on your journey to wellness. Give your body the gift of good health in 2014!

New Year, New Faces
Meet Staff Members Melissa & John
As a massage therapist and Reiki Master, Melissa Stander brings her unique blend of training and experience in Swedish and Shiatsu massage, pre and post-natal massage, injury prevention and recovery massage, as well as energy work to the Center. Her approach is also informed by grounding in body-centered Psychotherapy and Mindfulness practice.
Melissa developed into a "Jill of all healing trades" due to an early and transformational discovery of the power of inner awareness, unconditional self-love and loving self-discipline as a mode toward optimal health and well-being. She works with clients to find their own path to health and to participate fully in their healing, encouraging them to tune into their bodies and pay attention to their messages.
Although John Dillon joined our team as a physical therapist last September, many of you haven't met him yet. After years of working in the biotech field, John realized that he just didn't find it stimulating enough. He'd
experienced physical therapy first-hand due to athletic injuries, but not until his cat Buddy suffered from a peripheral neuropathy and he had to work with him at water therapy, balance, stretching and massage to get him to walk independently, did John consider PT as a career.
He was never so proud of an accomplishment as when Buddy began to walk after only six weeks. John then realized that he wanted to help people in the same way, returning them to the activities they enjoy and prolonging their independence. The biotech field's loss is our (and your) gain!
Join us in welcoming Melissa and John!
