Yarn Spotlight
Color adds a lot in our lives and can always enhance a knitting and crochet project!  Hence, a yarn that gives you great color variations, works up beautifully as a "bulky" yarn and suitable for year round garments!  Versa is all that and more!  It's a cotton and acrylic blend and is considered a tape yarn.  You will love it for all of these reasons and more!

Pattern of the Week
Seeing Laura's finished tank was some what inspirational!  We can all use a tank at various times in the year....why not work up the Katy Tank?  Worked from the top down, this color block garment is a fun, versatile piece with minimal assembly required! And don't forget the pattern and yarn is on sale!!!

One of my favorite four letter words! S-A-L-E!!  Feel free to scream it when you visit, because we are having one!  From now until June 28th, the entire (okay, not entire, but explanations to follow) store is 30% off!  Stock up now on projects!  Start knitting and crocheting now for the holiday gift giving season!  Make that sweater for yourself that you've been dreaming about!!  Now is the time!  It is our annual MAKEROOMFORMOREYARN SALE and we need you to buy now to make room for more yarn later!!

Here's the explanation part....we are not allowed to discount Addi products so they are not included in the sale, but EVERYTHING else is!  Yes, everything!!!
Indulgence is good....

Treat yourself to a mani/pedi and while you're sitting there, work up a pair of fingerless mitts, or socks....it's all contained in this great kit!  A collaboration between Lorna's Laces and SOAK, the kit contains a pattern, a nailcolor from Essie and a skein of handpainted sock yarn from Lorna's!  OH! There's also a hand cream to keep your fingers soft and supple after your manicure.  What's not to love and guess what?  They are included in the SALE!!!!
F.O.'s Gallery

Laura adapted this Irmo Tank  from the Berroco Weekend Booklet #296...she used Linsey and even added a repeat of the colorwork above the ribbing.  We think that the end results are awesome! Too cute Laura!

Our friend (and ShiBui rep), Tonny Shankland designed this great cowl using double skeins of Cima in two different colors.  It was fun to do and the yarn is truly divine!  This is a free pattern with yarn purchase and with the sale occurring, you can get a great deal on the Cima Cowl!
Book of the Week

Well, kind of....did you know that we carry a variety of magazines?  We have KnitWear, Interweave Knits, KnitScene and Knitting Traditions and they are all included in the sale!  30% off of cover price....sounds like a commercial!

These magazines are full of useful tips, helpful information and awesome patterns.  They will inspire you to start a new project and perhaps even learn a new technique!  KnitScene has a whole spread devoted to mitered knitting in various shapes and sizes!  KnitWear has awesome, realistic garment patterns that are fun to create and great to show off!

Take advantage of the sale and pick up a few magazines....you can peruse them on the beach and if you get a little sunscreen on them, it's okay!
June continues to be a crazy month and we all need to take a moment to breathe, relax and work a few rows!  It just so happens that Laura will be here on Monday for NoonKnitting from 12:00 - 3:00 and if that doesn't work, Pam WILL be here for Knitting@Nite from 8:00 - 10:00.  Come in now....before you know it, the kids will be done with school and our free time may all but dissipate!  Indulge while you can!

Hopefully, you enjoyed the weekend and praised a father in your life...David and Sam are both great dads and Sam even provides a little fatherly love in the Cahn household so we wish both of them a Happy Father's Day!! Happy Graduation to a lot of people too!

We're here all week and the MAKEROOMFORMOREYARN Sale continues!  Don't miss out on a lot of great deals through June 28th!
