Yarn Spotlight
We all like a little sparkle in our life and we found the perfect yarn to accent your wardrobe!  Sunseeker is 237 yards of a DK weight yarn with cotton, acrylic and metallic.  It is very soft, machine washable and works up 5.5 to 6 stitches on a 4 to 5 needle.  This yarn is REALLY nice to work with and we're looking forward to seeing what you create with this awesome yarn!
Pattern of the Week
The time change often reminds us that we will be able to wear short sleeved tops soon!  We found this great pattern to start now and have finished in time to do just that!  Wear this Spring Garden Tee as early as May!  You may use the Sunseeker* or any DK weight yarn.  A few ideas come to mind and this easy, feminine tee is perfect for anyone!

Gadget of the Week
They're BAAAAACK!  We recently received an order from our gadget supplier and we are thrilled to have filled in the accessory wall!  We now have back in stock the KachaKacha which we personally feel, everyone should have just one!

An extra hour of daylight is always good for the soul and perhaps will allow you a little bit more time to do things....we're only hoping that those "things" involve yarn! We have filled the shelves with new yarns for warmer weather, moved some sale yarn into the center room and have been filling up our "queue" with future projects.

What's Not to Love?

Some of you may have had the good fortune of meeting Norah Gaughan during our anniversary celebration.  We love her designs and the creativity that she contributes to the Berroco Design Team!  This is only proven in the newest collection of pattern booklets and it just so happens, we HAVE them!  Come and see what we mean!  The new yarns that correspond are awesome and we aren't sure what we want to knit or crochet first! Yet another decision to make! This is just one of the booklets!  We have the entire collection to taunt you with!

F.O.'s Hall of Fame

We may no longer carry the yarn, but we knew that you would love to see the progress of another one of Laura's projects.....the Furry Vest from Trendsetter looks great!  Laura used LaFurla (which we no longer have:() and Rittenhouse (which is on sale in the middle room!).  The end result is adorable!
Math is IMPORTANT!

As we all know, math really is used after college!  We try to explain this as we do our best to assist our kids with their homework!  Well, the proof is at Knit-a-Bit in the form of Shibui patterns!  The Geometry collection, including Isoceles,  arrived today and each pattern is based on a geometric shape and theory!  They are very well written and you get to enjoy their yarns too!  Way cool!
