Hi Friends,
Before I share some exciting updates with you, I want to thank all my wonderful readers who took time to email me after "My Last Newsletter - For A Season" (see newsletter archives). Your words of encouragement have been such a tremendous blessing to me as I have been continually seeking God for this new and upcoming season. Although it has only been about 6 weeks since I last wrote (I really thought it would be much, much longer), I have been spending quality time with the Lord each day, and He has already expanded my vision (and thinking) in ways I had not previously imagined for the future growth of Susan Klaudt Horse Ministry. Isn't that just like the Lord? One thing is for certain - when we are willing to give God the reins to our life, and we allow Him to guide us, He will always "direct our feet" exactly where He wants us to go. And that brings me to the next thing I want to share with you.
For several years, I've received hundreds of emails in response to my weekly newsletters with questions like "When are you going to do some horse ministry clinics? Is there some way I can come and study Natural Horse Faith-Man-Ship with you? How can I learn more horse ministry from you personally?" Only 3 short years ago, my vision was simply to share the gospel with you via a weekly horse ministry newsletter. Now I hear the Lord saying to me,
"Are you willing to come up higher?" My answer is, "Yes."
Your letters and your desire for more in-depth and hands-on study with me and my Natural Horse Faith-Man-Ship ministry are the catalyst and the inspiration behind many of the upcoming changes I'm now working on. And hence, it is the reason for todays newsletter. I'm excited about the future, and I want to share with you a few updates and projected goals for 2016.
Finally, Mark Twain once said that the two most important days of our life are the day we were born, and the day we find out why. I would respectively submit that the two most important days we will ever know are the day we become born-again, and the day we fully understand God's purpose for our life. Until next time, I continue to...
Ride With Faith,
Susan
P. S. Great news - I'll be back this week with our regular horse ministry newsletter. Watch for it in your email box. It's all about
The Chain Breaker!
WE'RE COMING UP HIGHER
IN 2016!
Thanks for taking the journey with us!
UPDATE ON OUR
GOALS FOR 2016:
We're Looking For
A Clinic Home!
Due to many requests over the past few years for more in-depth and hands-on study with Susan personally, we are diligently seeking God about an appropriate equine facility in which to conduct future certifiable clinics for Natural Horse Faith-Man-Ship. At present time, in top running is our area's
Tri-State Exhibition Center. The 92 acre multi-purpose equine facility has many amenities that we think would be an exceptional and enjoyable experience for clinic attendees and their horses, as well as those wishing to audit our clinics, general audience, out of town church groups, and guests, alike. We'll keep you updated.
Recent Update from Susan
Kim (my husband) and I met this month with our friend, Mack Hess, who is the facility general manager at Tri-State to discuss costs, ideas, and plans for possible future clinics, seminars, programs, etc. Mack has been very gracious over the years in allowing me to ride and exercise my horses at the Tri-State facility during training, etc. I love the large, covered riding facility and Mack is excited to work with our non-profit evangelistic ministry, Kim and Susan Klaudt World Ministries, Inc., and the possibility of bringing various equine ministry outreach programs affiliated with Susan Klaudt Horse Ministry and Natural Horse Faith-Man-Ship (teaching biblical faith using horses) to our hometown area.
The Program For
Natural Horse Faith-Man-Ship
(NHF)
*The study program for Natural Horse Faith-Man-Ship (NHF) is in the works, and we hope to have it completed and available for purchase sometime in 2016, and before any clinics are offered. The NHF program will be taught in 3 levels, and will include Bible study in the 3 core principles of NHF which is purpose, power, and partnership (see NHF webpage on our website for core principle descriptions).
*Important Note From Susan:
Although I will be teaching foundational horsemanship skills in future clinics, along with groundwork exercises that will help advance your horsemanship knowledge, please keep in mind that the Natural Horse Faith-Man-Ship course of study will be primarily designed to teach biblical Christian faith. Remember, our clinics will be unique and one-of-a-kind in that they will not be horsemanship clinics, horse problem-solving clinics, or colt-breaking clinics. By design, our Faith-Man-Ship clinics main objective will be to teach biblical faith while using horses. This will allow riders and non-riders, as well as experienced and unexperienced horsemen and horsewomen, alike, to attend a clinic with their horse and focus on learning about biblical faith in a unique and non-competitive atmosphere, while at the same time learning more about their horse and the relationship they share with one another.
Sounds Like A Plan
We'll have much more info in 2016 as we continue to refine our projected plans, programs, scheduling, etc.
Plans To Expand Our
Cyberspace Tent Posts!
*We will soon be expanding Susan Klaudt Horse Ministry and our Natural Horse Faith-Man-Ship family by joining Facebook. (Yep, we tried to avoid it as long as we could - preferring to spend more time in the saddle than online). However, we do recognize that it's one of those important "changes" we must be willing to make in order to grow. We also recognize that a strong online presence is important and crucial to successfully grow our equine ministry and share the good news of the gospel with as many people as possible. We also have plans to re-design and update our website in 2016 in order to reflect all our upcoming changes and growth. Great things are on the way. Thanks for taking the journey with us!
